Too bad the car is not on the ground so I could get
a shot of it in the sunlight.
I took a few shots of this weeks progress.
It was my first opportunity to get pictures of the stripes, which I think look really good. These photos do not do them justice at all. Once the car is back together I will have to get some shots of them in the sunlight. Not to mention from a better angle.

Mitch was working on the brakes when I got there. He had tried to start at the rear, but the axels need to be turned down to clear the inside of the new hats. What a pain; we had to do this the last time too.
The front brakes are going quite nicely though. I am quite pleased with the way the powder-coated calipers turned out. This way I don't have to worry about ruining them when I bleed the brakes. I also really like the looks of the two-piece rotors, and the better cooling will be nice on the track.

I had the calipers powder-coated because the other "coating"
was just paint.

...and we know what happens to paint when brake fluid
hits it.

The undercarriage is filthy. It's going to
take forever to clean all the bodyshop dust off of it.
